Rosh Hashanah + Yom Kippur

High Holiday flowers from a Jewish florist.

Rosh Hashanah is a two-day holiday both in Israel and outside of Israel. In 2009 Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) begins at sundown on Friday September 18 and ends at nightfall on Monday September 28. The ten days that follow, leading up to Yom Kippur, are known as the Days of Repentance.

Yom Kippur (Jewish Day of Atonement) is on Monday September 28. Many people of the Jewish faith will practice such rituals as fasting, refraining from work, and attending Synagogue services.

At The Flower Pot, we offer a special assortment of floral arrangements and plants to grace your dinner table in honor and celebration of these High Holidays.
