Celebrate Father’s Day in Montreal on Sunday June 21st, 2020.
The concept for Father’s Day was the brainchild of Sonora Smart Dodd who, after hearing a Mother’s Day sermon, decided that fathers deserved
a similar honor. Father’s Day was celebrated for the first time in June 1910.
In 1966, President Lyndon Johnson issued a presidential proclamation
declaring the third Sunday of June to be Father’s Day.
